Bath House renovations & Splash pad installation

Shamar Young and Allen McCown were at the September FoFP meeting and presented the initial drawings for the splashpad renovation.

During this meeting, Allen will be joined by Nissa Richardson, Deputy Director of Capital Projects, and Smitty Lynch, HBA Architect, to present the final package going before the Urban Design Committee on November 19, 2023.

During this time, they will also be available to answer any questions and address any community concerns.

We are thankful for their time and effort to implement community feedback and share next steps.

Outdoor Classroom in Food Forest

The Fonticello Food Forest and Parks recently won a grant for $10,000 to build an outdoor classroom structure in the Food Forest. Additional information about this project can be found in the images below. On October 22, the Food Forest stewards held a community input session in the Food Forest. This meeting will provide an opportunity for the community to meet not only with the Food Forest stewards, but also with representatives from Parks.

We are thankful for their team and effort to gather community input on this project.

*Please note that the Fonticello Food Forest and the FoFP are governed by different bodies and are not the same organization. This is being posted as a courtesy to our neighbors.
