Laney Sullivan is the Director and Co-Founder of Fonticello Food Forest, a community garden planted within a two acre parcel of Fonticello Park. The food forest offers weekly free food distribution at their Wednesday Free Farmstands. 

Environmental Activist and community organizer, Sullivan is a member of Richmond Food Not Bombs, Artivism Virginia, Swansboro Civic Association, Richmond Stormwater citizen stakeholder group, and the co-founder of Earth Folk collective.

Professionally, Laney is singer, harmonium player and manager of the indie folk band Høly River who tours nationally and internationally singing songs of change and inspiration. 

A close neighbor to the park since 2014, Laney is deeply invested in supporting the improvement of Fonticello and helping to organize events which can bring the neighbors together and create a safe and mutually supportive environment in our park. 

Laney is on the Programs and Park Events Committee and serves as an Ex Officio member of the Board representing the Fonticello Food Forest.
